The LeTort Quilters of Carlisle warmly invites you to join our growing community! We’d love for you to attend a meeting as our guest. If you choose to become a member, simply print the membership form and bring it to any guild meeting. The membership fee is $25.00 for the guild year (September to June). We hope to welcome you soon!

How do I become a member?

To join the LeTort Quilters of Carlisle, start by attending a meeting as our guest to experience what our guild has to offer. If you decide to become a member, just bring a completed membership form to any meeting or mailed the form to LeTort Quilters of Carlisle, P.O. Box 260, Carlisle, PA 17013 . The annual membership fee is $25.00.

What can I expect at a meeting?

When you arrive at the church, a greeter will welcome you at the side door to the left as you face the building. The first half-hour of our meetings is dedicated to socializing and visiting various stations, such as comfort quilts, workshops, fiddle quilts, retreats, and more. The meeting officially begins with our planned program, followed by guild business, a show-and-tell, and raffles.

How can I get involved as a volunteer?

Our guild relies on many volunteers to keep things running smoothly, from small tasks to larger roles. If you're interested in volunteering, simply indicate your preferences on the membership form, and the current committee chairs will reach out to you.

I have a quilt with a Cumberland County Quilt Documentation label. How do I find out more?

The Cumberland County Quilt Documentation Project database is now maintained by the Cumberland County Historical Society. For information about specific quilts, please contact the historical society directly. You can also visit our Documentation Project page for more details about the project and the related book.

Can LeTort Quilters appraise my quilt?

Not at this time. We currently do not have a certified quilt appraiser in our guild. You can visit the American Quilt's Society page to find an appraiser near you.
